Jimmy Hubbard, Jr. was born in Albany, Oregon, in 1977, and moved to Oregon City, Oregon in 1979.  Raised in Oregon City most of his life, he attended John McLoughlin Elementary School, Gardner Middle School, and graduated from Oregon City Senior High School.

 

In 1993 he accepted the Lord as his Savior and was baptized by the authority of Hillcrest Missionary Baptist Church.  He surrendered to preach in July of 2001 while attending church camp.

Over the next few years, he attended bible and seminary courses offered by New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Aloha, Oregon.  He was ordained to the ministry on March 18 of 2006. He accepted the call to pastor the Madras Missionary Baptist Church the following Sunday.  On July 1, 2012, he accepted the call to pastor the Klamath Falls Missionary Baptist Church where he served for nearly 10 years.

 

Jimmy became Pastor of the Bend First Missionary Baptist Church August 1, 2022.  He is happy to be back in Central Oregon.  He is also excited to see what opportunities and blessings God will pour out on the church here.
